Let's make a deal

Let's make a deal

Nora is all about making deals lately. She uses deals mostly to try and get out of doing things she doesn't care for, like coughing and baths. Most of the fun comes because her deals are absolutely terrible. It's a lot like that old 80's game show except we don't have to wear costumes. Here's an example of a Nora deal:
"let's skip bath time...that's my deal"
"take Han Solo back to the store...it's my deal" (she hates Han Solo)
"I want to watch the peanuts movie... it's my deal"
Today is present day...it's a deal" "...take my deal"

Nora almost always completes her deals with "take my deal" then a short time later she'll follow up and say "...trust me". The part she always forgets about is OUR PART OF THE DEAL - like what do we get out of letting her skip bath? besides a stinky girl.

Speaking of skipping baths, which we only did like twice ever, Jaime told Nora that if she doesn't take a bath, her girl parts could itch. Nora remembered that gem. So now Nora says:
"is it bath night?"
Yes, Nora
"Let's skippit! ... it's a deal ... my girl parts don't itch"
"...trust me"

goodentree    /ˈgo͝odənˌtrēˈ/   noun

derived from our last name: Gooden and the idea of a family tree We came up with the name after we made the decision to start a family (have a child).
When Nora was born and diagnosed with the terminal disease SMA, her story quickly spread, and goodentree became established.
