Build-a-Bunny?

We took Nora to Build-A-Bear on Sunday.   We talked to an employee who said the best time to come would be first thing when they opened.  That same employee helped us speed through the bear building stations before the crowds hit.  We owe her a BIG thanks for that.

So Nora fell asleep in the car on the ride there and awoke in the store.  Her eyes tell the whole story.  She was so in awe at all the animals.  We held up most of the animals and she narrowed it down to two (a bunny and a monkey).  You can see the final choice in the pictures.   Once we gave her to Nora and then took her away for the stuffing process, she [Nora] wasn't having that.  Thankfully that process is quick and we got her back to Nora before a total meltdown occurred.  We LOVE to see little miss Diva come out in Nora. So our first Build-a-Bear experience was a HUGE hit.  We will be going back ....just not too often since these Bears are expensive.

Nora also got a new adaptive toy switch on Friday.  It was one of two we ordered but the other one was way to stiff for Nora.  This Giraffe themed one has a super light touch we were able to get all her adapted toys out.  I had forgotten how horribly annoying most of her toys are.  We played with these most of the weekend and even made a video.  Be warned... Nora's puppy "Violet" has a potty mouth when it comes to spelling.

0 #1 Montana Grandma 2010-07-18 22:11 The two pix of Nora sadly waiting for her bunny to be done and getting the final product tells the whole story. The bunny looks just as cute as Nora. Great to see her using her stander too. Much love and hugs to all of you. Quote

0 #6 Kim 2010-07-20 19:10 I smiled right along with Nora as I went through the pictures. I got upset too when they were stuffing the bunny! Then I was happy again when Nora got her back. Quote
